Join us on Thursday, June 9 through Saturday, June 11, for a three day, two night backpacking trip to one of two locations: Trap Lake and Thunder Mountain Lakes or Tuck Lake and Robin Lakes - both in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The final decision on location will be made week-of depending on trail conditions. These hikes are listed as "hard" on AllTrails. The plan will be to set up a base camp and those interested can continue the next day for a day hike.
Basic hiking experience and good hiking shoes/boots required. You will be required to provide your own food as well as carry your own gear, but we're here to help and make lightweight food suggestions! If you need to borrow gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, backpack, trekking poles, nalgenes), please let us know on the form below as there are extras available. We will share water filtration as well as a cooking gear for those that don't have it.
We will meet at the church parking lot and carpool/carvan to the trailhead bright and early on Thursday morning. We will return on Saturday evening. Exact times TBD.
Lyndsey Watson as well as Megan Burch will be chaperones for the trip.
